Head coach: Shannon McCellan
• Shannon began swimming summer league at
the age of 7, Joined Chattahooche Gold Swim Team at age of 9, and
is still Swimming year-round, Member of the Lassiter Swim Team and
has lettered since 9th grade, 2-Time Marietta Daily Journal All-County
team member, First Team All-State 2008, Member of the 2007-2008
Lassiter state championship team, and part of a state-recording
holding 200 freestyle relay, Captain of the swim team for the 2008-2009
season, 3 time Georgia Swimming All Star, Currently running track
& in chorus, 2nd year coaching the Parkwood Commons Piranhas
Head Coach: Alex Smith
• Alex began swimming summer league at the
age of 6. This year will be his 11th year as a member of the Parkwood
Commons Piranhas, and his second year as an assistant coach. Alex
has been a USA swimmer for the past six years, swimming four years
for Tidal Wave and two years with Chattahoochee Gold. Alex was a
member of the Cobb County State Team in 2000, 2004, 2005, 2006,
and 2007. Alex is a junior at Kell High School and has been on the
Kell Swim Team for the past three seasons. He lettered each season,
and also swam at the State High School Meet all three years.
