Practices:
After school
6 & unders: 4:45 - 5:15
10 and under: 5:15 - 6:00
11 and up: 6:00 - 7:00

5/8 will be dry land practice, wear athletic shoes.
5/12 - 5/13, 5/14 and 5/15 will be in the pool, weather and temperatures permitting.
If temperatures are questionable, bring clothes and athletic shoes to practice.

Morning practice times:
11 up: 8:30 - 9:45
10 & under: 9:45 - 10:45
6 & unders: 10:45 - 11:15
Morning practice will begin on 5/29

Swimmers and families,

Welcome to the Piranhas’ team website. We hope that everyone is excited about the upcoming season. We are very pleased to introduce our new coaching staff. Our Head Coaches for the 2009 season are Alex Smith and Shannon McLellan with Mike Radford assisting them Meet the Coaches. The Piranhas will be swimming in the Silver Division this season, and our meets will be on Tuesday nights

We would like to thank everyone that turned out for our registration and suit fitting on March 23rd. Did you miss registration night? It’s not too late to register. Currently, we are still accepting registrations for swimmers in all age groups. Please print off a registration from, complete it, and mail to Alan Williams @ 5066 Lambeth Court, Acworth, GA 30101

We will be holding a parent meeting on Sunday, May 3rd at 4:00 at the Parkwood Commons Pool.Parents, please make every effort to attend this meeting.We are in the first year of our team suits so all swimmers need to purchase a new suit. The Piranhas’ girl’s suit will be the Speedo Galaxy nrw rb . The boy’s suit will be the Speedo Galaxy jammer in Navy and Red. Suits may be purchased through Friends Unlimited SWIMshop, Inc. Our team suit specialist is Jamie Rogers. You can contact her to purchase a suit at 770-479-9655 opt. 4, or Jamie@SWIMshop1.com, or you can shop online at www.SWIMshop1.com. Be sure to mention that you are with the Parkwood Commons Piranhas to get the team suit price.

Once again everyone will be required to work 4 half meets. To volunteer for your 4 half meets contact Rita Scarpantonio 770-928-4731.
